Date:   2002-10-02 02:56:38
From:   anonymous2
Hi all, i don't know this is the only flaws that cause the 404 file not found error but it works for me.

Here is my web.xml
====================================
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

<!DOCTYPE web-app
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">

<web-app>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>login</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>com.onjava.login</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>login</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/servlet/*</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>

</web-app>
==========================================
* you should noticed the addtion element "servlet-mapping"

By the way i modify the form action from
"servlet/com.onjava.login" to "servlet/login" as well.

i thinks it is because of the different version of tomcat.

I try and error for days, so i think i should post here for anyone who follows my step.
