If OS X were available on commodity hardware, maybe I could consider that a step in the right direction. Apple is a hardware company, and I doubt the majority of those 25 million users have Jaguar class machines, making OSX a gimmick to sell more systems, and a blast to the past. If Apple was really interested in seeing Unix on the desktop, they would port it to X86. |
