The example application shows bad use of both HTML and JSP. See below.


HTML: No DOCTYPE spec, use of deprecated tags and attributes (<center>, <bgcolor>, etc.).


JSP: Use of scriplets (Java code in the .jsp file). In Home.Jsp, for example, all the Java code can be easily replaced by JSTL tags (JSTL = JSP Standard Tag Library).
