Apple is focusing on "iLife" and all of the digital assets (pictures, music, audio) that it entails. It has also taken wireless technology into the Mac OS X fold. What's missing for Mac developers is a way to record, interact with, and manipulate all of this data on the devices that will be creating it (cellcams and PDAs in particular).
I'd like to see Apple support J2ME development as well as they support J2SE and WiFi/Bluetooth tech.
For more on what's missing and how Apple might go about addressing the issue, please see my related java.net blog entry, "Hey Apple, Got J2ME?".
Thanks for starting the discussion, Tim.
