I wrote my own authenticator and it works well except for the fact that right-click in the Java portion of the WLS console doesn't work under any current browser supported under Linux. This means you can't set application roles or policies under Linux if you are using Konqueror/Mozilla/Firebird.
It works with Netscape 4.x, but I find this highly disappointing. C'mon BEA, how about being compatible with software people actually use...
