Subject:   Need Help on GZIP Compression Filter

Hi Jayson,
The article on Servlet filters very good..we are trying to implement GZIP commpression in our application and getting some problems..

For small size html/jsp pages it is working fine..But for large files instead of html data display, its displaying File DownLoad popup window..Is there any restriction on the response buffer size and content-type.

We would like to store the GZIP compressed response buffer data in database and utilize it back to avoid the compression load for every hit. Can we do this?

Please advise..

Thanks In advance..
