Sun seems to be hitting the market with a lot of new tools theese days, hoping the with enough advertising something will ensure their future business.

The loosers are well established standards, and suns customers. We should focus on teaching people to use available tools, instead of switching tools all the time.

It takes perhaps 5 years to become reasonably good in a language or protocol. At that time people begins to learn something about programming, instead of language trivialities.

Unfortuately a lot of programmers never gets this far, because someone told them to learn a new tool instead of becoming better programmers.

Hopefully people will find out some day ... sigh!
