Thanks for a good article.
It sounds like you can work with several databases
without distributed transaction under JTA.
But in spring manual is always emphasized that in such cases when you need to work across multiple datasources spring would use JTA container to provide distributed transaction. Here is one quote from hibernate and spring integration doc
<< This allows for high level transaction demarcation with mixed Hibernate/JOB data access completely without JTA, as long as just accessing one database!>>.
But from your article I understood that it is possible to propagate transaction from one hibernate session to another without JTA.
Is that really so?
