EJB3.0 is still meant for distibuted computing and transaction.


Spring on other hand is an integration framework between different standards and programing environments.


I believe this needs to be stressed otherwise you will see people tend to program non distributed services as EJB 3.0 and abuse them the same way as SessionBeans are abused.
