What Is NeoOffice/J (and Can It Replace MS Office)
Subject:   Saving & document extension

I'm having trouble saving a text document as something other than the default NeoOffice .sxw.
I can save as rich text format on my desktop with a warning that some info may be lost. Saving as a Word doc degrades text to x'x and o'x etc.

Main problem occurs when I drag the rtf file to a shared network drive, so that it can be pulled into a Quark file. The .rtf file corrupts/degrades when I drag it onto the network.

Any suggestions or related experiences?
