Building Your Own Teleconference System with Asterisk and Gizmo
Subject:   How about using free conference bridges that are proliferating?

This is an excellent step-by-step for building a conference server using Asterisk. Thank you.

Recently, in 2006, many new services have sprung up providing truly free conferencing (LD charges for the caller) for up to 200 users per conference for each account. The free services use DIDs in certain locations such as Iowa. Examples include FreeConferenceCall.com, FreeConference.com, FreeAudioConferencing.com, and NoCostConference.com.

This way, one avoid the intial and recurring costs of building your own conference bridge.

What are your views this as an alternative?

Thanks.
