POJO Application Frameworks: Spring Vs. EJB 3.0
Subject:   And then came the POJO Application Server

First there was EJB, then someone tried to fix it and Spring was born, then EJB tried to copy Spring, and just when they thought they had stolen DI, someone really fixed EJB, and made the POJO Application Server.

Its now difficult to have the above discussion. Build a Java Application and forget about the container, thats how the PAS works.

IOC what?
Dependency who?
XML what for?
Annotations is that band aid for a broken system?

Real question now is, just how dead is EJB?
