Thanks a lot for the example. It is very usefull for trainig my ear, with diferents notes.
I add a random notes generator for this and i use the midi file.


I prefer next offsets:


static final int[] offsets = { // add these amounts to the base value
// A B C D E F G
9, 11, 0, 2, 4, 5, 7
};


it is simpler build a total octave from C to +C

Now,I'm looking for a player code that prints the playing notes: it would be a new listener...
