Download a free, compact program called 'ResHacker' from http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/ Use it to open a windows program. When you do, several folders appear on the left, each with the resources the program uses, such as icons, cursors, strings, and dialog. You may use ResHacker to extract them or replace them. It even includes an intuitive editor for dialog editing.
