Well, just when you thought you knew all the Mac writing apps, along comes something new and radically different.
Diamond is that thing. It’s a rich text editor with much the same capabilities as TextEdit, but with oh so much more style.
|It's interesting to see so many new tools coming out for writers. The day when Word was the be-all-and-end-all for putting words down on the screen seems to be passing - at least for those with creative words in mind rather than business documents. And why not? Scrivener is an interesting tool for Mac users, while PageFour seems to be offering the same thing for Windows - both targeting the creative over the business.|
|Thanks for the tip! I'm very pleased with Diamond's simple, no-distractions approach. I'm finding it very useful for keeping brainstorming notes and extended to-do-lists for development projects.|
