Direct AtomPub Object Model Support Makes It Into .NET Framework

by M. David Peterson

Brain.Save() - We are pleased to bring you new features in .NET 3.5 SP1

Syndication OM for the Atom Publishing Protocol. We added strongly-typed OM for all of the constructs defined in the Atom Publishing Protocol specification (like ServiceDocument and Workspaces) and put them in the System.ServiceModel.Syndication namespace.

That's quite cool indeed. It seems the MSDN is not up to date yet as I couldn't find the aforementioned API in the System.ServiceModel.Syndication namespace. Looking forward to it.

@Sylvain,

Yeah, I'm excited to play with it. Should be interesting!

I'll let you know if I find any documentation on it...

Hi,

You will have to install the SP1 beta to see the APP OM in the System.ServiceModel.Syndication namespace / System.ServiceModel.Web assembly.

Right, but does any documentation exist at this point outside the scope of VS.NET Object Browser and/or Reflector?
