Mitel Files for IPO
by Bruce Stewart
Reuters is reporting that the Canadian communications provider Mitel has just filed with U.S. regulators for an initial public offering of common shares in the United States and Canada. Reuters reports the iniital filing did not disclose how many shares the company plans to sell or at what price, but Andy Abramson is reporting that the IPO will be for a $150 million dollar flotation. I've long been a fan of Mitel's equipment and it seems that they very much "get" all the possibilities that IP communications offers. I expect they will do well with this public offering.
