by Giles Turnbull

A super-quick tour of what OmniDazzle can do, for people who don't have the time or the graphics card or the inclination to try it out for themselves.

And why is this something I would want?

I don't know how much it will cost, but I find it totaly useless. It's only "fun", so some may like it. But pay for it seams to me incredible.

(I know it's free for try for now, but it won't last...)

I've been using Omni's products since they became available for the OS X beta, and have been upgrading my licenses over the years. I rely on OmniOutliner Pro, OmniGraffle and OmniDisksweeper (even OmniDictionary) for my day-to-day work as a self-employed technologist. They are, for me, indispensable tools. (And if you use OO and know of GTD, you must check out kGTD at www.kinkless.com.)

But OmniDazzle?! I installed it two days ago. Personally, I don't see any reason why this would be publicly released, but to imply it's going to cost money is absurd. Where the heck does this fit in with the rest of their software line?

Maybe they need Shipley to come back and pimp their fizzle. (or maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.)

It looks like Coverflow ..
Looking at the video, I assume it has some presentation possibilities ??

Cool software. But like everyone says - charging for this?? Come on! I use OmniOutliner and OmniGraffle. Wonderful software but charging for this seems ridiculous.

Where is the review? There is only one sentence. No more text, no link.

@ Ano Nymous: There's also an embedded movie from YouTube.com. If you can't see it, perhaps your browser's Flash plugin needs updating.
