Uprizer's website now has some real information about their offering, KARMA, but not yet anything to download. Technically, it looks very similar to MIT's Chord project. A press release seems to suggest it will be used to deliver multi-megabyte files to mobile phones for a monthly subscription fee. They presumably have patents pending on their "innovative, proprietary" algorithms.

Other companies offering similar software/services include AllCast, Radiance, Kontiki, Blue Falcon, OpenCola, ChainCast, PeerGenius, Emikolo, Yaga, WebEver, VTrails and Red Swoosh.
