What does 2004 hold for you?

by Steve Mallett

I'm one of those people who love the idea of new beginnings and resetting a straight course for the new year. I'm curious.... what are you going to work on during the coming year?

Me? I'm planning on researching moderated xml/rss feeds/posts.

Spill your guts. What do you really want to work on?

skiing & home office
I'm not really one to invest much mental energy in new year's resolutions and all that sort of thing. However, one thing on my agenda for *this winter* is to buy and try a pair of waxable, cross-country skis, to see how they compare to the no-wax skis I use now.

Another thing on my agenda is to upgrade my home office. I've been thinking about whether I need a new PC to better support some of the writing that I do. I'm also looking at non-technical things such as a decent file-cabinet to replace my current crop of tupperware file boxes, a new desk, some new bookshelves. Oh, and if I shuffle things around just right, I can add in a nice, large, in the 8-foot range, whiteboard.

My highest-priority winter task is to finish the mainfloor bathroom remodel that I began last summer. Oh, and there's also this book that my editor wants done...
